Many shop vacuums labeled as having a 2.5" hose are in fact only 2.5" O.D. on the hose itself, while the hose cuff is only 2.25" O.D. to allow them to be inserted into the vacuum's inlet or other vacuum hose accessories. This confusion in labeling can make it hard to find compatible vacuum parts.
Oneida Air offers this 2" to 2.25" Hose Adapter as part of a solution to this connection problem. Used in conjunction with our 2.25" Hose Connector, you can slide this soft PVC adapter over the inlet of the Dust Deputy® to quickly and easily connect your 2.5" hose to the cyclone.
This hose adapter is smooth on the inside and is made from a soft plastic material to allow for easy friction fits with your hose.
