As a company we try to uphold these principles and apply them to our products every day - That's why we created the Future Craftsman Scholarship program.
Each year $1000 is awarded to each art program at North Bennet Street School, OCAC, and RIT, to foster and support students who are studying to be the next generation of American Craftsmen. Students are selected based on their skill mastery, their love for their work, and their dedication to the craft as a career path.

Joshua Bergeron is our third Oneida Air Systems Future Craftsmen scholarship winner at the North Bennet Street School. Josh is in his second year of the Cabinet and Furniture Making program at the NBSS. He chose to come to NBSS from his home state of Maryland after six years of working in a cabinet/millwork shop. Josh really wanted to more fully utilize and improve his skills, and expand his understanding of traditional furniture making techniques. He enjoys making hand cut dovetails, pinned bottoms and hand cut mortise and tenon.
Josh earned an AAS in Construction Trades and a certificate in Cabinetmaking and Millwork from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Cory is a 3rd year Bachelors of Fine Arts student in the Wood Department of the Oregon College of Arts and Craft. He has proven to be an asset to the Wood Program through many contributions, but what sets Cory apart is his ability to dedicate himself to the relentless pursue of his art.
Cory actually began his studies at Oregon College of Art and Craft 10 years ago through the community program for pre-college students. In the course of that ten years Cory has, at times, maintained a full-time job, and has gotten married. Regardless of outside pressures and distractions, he continues to inspire others with his desire to seek criticism and develop his skills and talent.
Tom is a junior year student at RIT who has dedicated himself fully to his design work and skill mastery. His work is of the highest quality and has been featured in several undergraduate honors shows. Tom also works at the college as a program assistant, but has plans to use the Future Craftsman Scholarship to further support his education and work.
