Build a New Branch Off of Your Existing Ducting Run
Saddles can be used to install a branch into existing ductwork without having to disassemble the run. Cut a hole into the existing duct then attach the saddle over the hole. Secure the saddle to the existing duct with sheet metal screws or pop-rivets and seal it in place with silicone caulk.
