Used to accommodate a wide range of hose movement, particularly in CNC applications, where flex hose alone would be under too much stress. Made from heavy-gauge galvanized spun steel. Raw on one end for connecting to standard steel ductwork fittings, and beaded on the other side for attaching flex hose (sold separately).

Increase Ducting Flexibility and Reduce Hose Strain

This 4" Ball Joint duct fitting allows for up to 22 degrees of movement off-center with 360-degrees of directional rotation. This swiveling movement greatly enhances the flexibility of the ducting layout, allowing for free rotation in any direction without requiring adjustment from the operator / installer (unlike an elbow joint).

Constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized spun-steel, ball Joints are especially useful with CNC machines that are connected to the ducting via flex-hose as the cutter head's rapid movement can create a high amount of "whipping" force on the hose. Ball joints swivel with the flex hose, to both improve the movement and reduce the force of impact on your ductwork and tools.
