Sweep Waste Directly Into Your Dust Collector
Floor Sweeps provide a simple and convenient way for shop owners to clean up excess dust and debris that hasn't already been captured by their dust collection system. Open floor sweeps require a blast gate to be installed above them in the duct line so that airflow is not waste on the sweep when it is not in use.
Use caution not to suck up foreign, metal, or combustible materials. Oneida Air recommends only using a floor sweep if you have a cyclone style collector as without this, material will run through your fan impeller and could damage your system.
