When planning ductwork for dust collection, it's common that some duct branches may be unfinished as they await the purchase and/or installation of new tools. In these instances, End Caps can be useful for closing off unused ductwork – preserving them for future expansions.
The crimped end of this fitting fits snugly into 8" I.D. piping, and should be secured in place using sheet metal screws or pop rivets.
