These 45° Pants Wyes (also called Y-Branches) are constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized steel. The taper is lapped spot-welded and caulked while the two halves are full-welded together. Features rolled-ends on each opening for use with Quick-Clamp Duct Clamps, allowing for easy adjustments and fast installations. Spend less time measuring, cutting, and assembling your ducting so you can get right to work!
Pants Wyes are used to evenly divide airflow while maintaining or reducing the overall ductwork diameter. A common example of which is to split the exhaust from a dust collector to two side-by-side cartridge filters. Oneida Air also provides 45 Degree Wye Joints for splitting off smaller ductwork runs to tools and systems.
