No matter how well you design your shop's dust collection system, some waste will eventually find its way to the floor - creating slip hazards and making a mess. Rather than fetching the dust pan, these Floor Sweep ductwork terminals provide an easy way to dispose of your waste all at once by sweeping it into the dust collector.
Please Note: Only cyclonic dust collection systems, such as Oneida Air Systems' equipment, can offer this type of solution as a pre-separator is required to prevent larger objects (nuts, bolts, etc.) from being sucked up into the fan impeller. Take caution not to suck up any combustible or hot/smoldering materials.
Floor Sweep Styles
- Open: Requires a blast gate installed above the sweep fitting to preserve the collector's airflow performance. Shut off when not in use.
- Closed: Features a hinged, steel door with accessible foot latch. Easily open the door when needed.
