Overview

This galvanized steel 6" dia. Outlet Adapter for Oneida Air Systems' Molded Super Dust Deputy® cyclones allows for easier flex hose connections over the cyclone's top port. This fitting's bidirectional design (crimped on one end, raw on the other) allows it to accommodate a wide range of 6" hose sizes that may vary slightly in snugness and fitness.

Why is this outlet adapter necessary?

This adapter is only necessary if you wish to connect 6" flex hose to your Super Dust Deputy (SDD) cyclone; otherwise it will be a very tight fit that can be hard to install or remove. The SDD is designed in the same manner as full dust collection systems, where the inlet's outer diameter is exactly as specified (6" in this case), so that it can be connected to steel ductwork such as straight piping, elbows, and reducers – all of which would require a hand crimping tool.

After installing this adapter it becomes very simple to attach and remove large 6" diameter flex hose from the cyclone outlet. Smaller size flex hose will require a reducer instead of this adapter.
