7" Beginner Ductwork Starter Kit
This Basic Ductwork Connection Package is designed for systems with 7" inlets such as our V-System and our Dust Gorilla Pro. It includes all of the essentials you'll need to connect your dust collector to a single tool with a 4"/5" dia. dust port - ideal for shops with the system installed in a central location and for shops that cannot accommodate fixed ductwork layouts.
The tool is connected to the dust collector via a long 5" dia. reinforced hose which is more cost-effective and easier to handle than 6" dia. hose. The ducting line is then (optionally) reduced to 4" dia. at the tool port. The hose can be quickly disconnected and attached to other tools thanks to the Quick-Connect fittings near the tool port. Ductwork is connected to the dust collector in the following order:
- Dust Collector Inlet
- 7" to 5" Reducer
- 5" Female Quick Connect
- 5" Male-to-Male Duct Adapter
- Hose Band Clamp
- 25' x 5" Flex Hose
- Hose Band Clamp
- 5" Male Hose Quick Connect
- 5" Female Quick Connect
- 5" to 4" Reducer (Optional)
- Machine Dust Port
Ductwork components will need to be attached and secured using parts and tools not included in this kit e.g. foil tape, hanging straps, machine screws, silicone caulk, etc.
