How do I connect the Super Dust Deputy to my tools?

5" Molded Super Dust Deputy:

The intake of our Super Dust Deputy cyclone measures 5" on the outer diameter as many customers typically connect 5" flex hose directly to the cyclone and then reduce at the tool if necessary. Our Hose Quick Connect Kits are also very useful in this regard.

If you already have 4" pipe or hose that you want to connect this cyclone to, then you will need our special 5-to-4 reducer (item #DRL001205) that slips over this cyclone's 5" inlet. Standard steel ductwork will not fit even if crimped.

Other non-standard solutions may include chilling the inlet to contract the molded resin, or using flexible drain pipe couplings readily available at local hardware stores. For more assistance please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

4" Super Dust Deputy Deluxe:

The ports of our Super Dust Deputy Deluxe cyclone measures 4" on the outer diameter as many customers typically connect 4" flex hose directly to the cyclone. Our Hose Quick Connect Kits are also very useful in this regard.

Steel Super Dust Deputy:

The inlet of our Steel Super Dust Deputy cyclone measures 5" on the inner diameter to accept crimped steel ducting. It also includes a pre-crimped steel coupler fitting which can be used to readily accept flex hose or steel ducting on the inlet.
