How is the filter cleaned if it doesn't have the typical hand crank?

The use of hand cranks that "beat" the filter can damage the filter's pleating material overtime, so our systems are not built with such mechanisms.

In general, filters should be cleaned using compressed air (up to 90 PSI) blown from the outside of the filter. The nozzle should be pointed into the filter's pleating. Keep the air nozzle at least 2" away from the filter to prevent damage to the filter media. Dispose of collected dust by emptying the dust bin at the bottom of the filter.

Our cartridge filters have a pleating arrangement that is widely spaced for significantly faster and easier cleanings compared to competitive models. Additionally, the filter media is coated with a non-stick PTFE membrane that allows for quick dust release when cleaning.

This can all be done without having to remove the filter from the system and helps maintain the filter's lifespan for years to come.
