Oneida Air Systems' dust collectors are designed and tested for wood and wood dust. They can and have been used effectively for various other debris, including drywall dust, paper dust, agricultural dust, and metal chips. Please note that some common materials when cut, ground or processed by machinery may become highly toxic, flammable, or deflagrable and explosive. Customers must ensure that their particular use of a dust collection system is in accordance with national, state, local, NFPA, OSHA and all other applicable codes.

That answer will depend on the size of the inlet on your 3HP dust collector. With any fan blower, airflow performance is limited by the cross-sectional area of your piping, so you will always want to minimize any reductions if possible. If your 3HP dust collector has a 6" inlet, then you'll want to use the 6" Super Dust Deputy XL cyclone. If the collector has a 5" inlet, then you should use the 5" Super Dust Deputy cyclone.

Only use vacuum pressure rated flex-hose and duct with the Supercell dust collector. Under the system's high suction, standard hose/pipe may collapse causing affixed tools to be pulled towards the system, potentially causing damage and/or injury.

The Dust Deputy 2.5 is designed specifically for any wet/dry vacuum that comes with 2.5-inch hose and fittings – regardless of the vacuum’s stated CFM.
