Since there is no viewing window included on the fiber drum of the Super Dust Deputy 4" Deluxe Kit, checking the fill level will require that you manually open the drum. How quickly your container is filled with vary significantly with what type of work you're doing (e.g. cutting, sanding, planing, etc.). We recommend checking the drum fairly often once you've first installed the cyclone. This will help you develop an instinct for how quickly the container is filled. Alternatively, our Dust Sentry Bin Level Indicator can be installed to the cyclone/drum lid. This infrared sensor will automatically alert you once the drum has reached a preset fill level of your choosing. Ensure that the sensor is fully sealed when installed to the curved lid.

Yes, but you will need something to hold the bag open inside the drum, otherwise the suction pressure will pull the bag up into the cyclone. Oneida Air Systems offers a 15 Gal. Bag Holder Kit for this purpose.

Unfortunately, we do not sell the "base" section of the Ultimate Dust Deputy as a standalone product. In addition, the clear cyclone you are referring to is made from an anti-static resin, and does not offer the same degree of static protection as our black, static conductive cyclone. We would not recommend the clear cyclone be used with high CFM vacuums, such as the CT26, without taking additional steps to electrically ground the system (e.g. foil tape, copper wire, etc.).
