Can I purchase the impeller by itself?
We do not sell standalone impellers on our website. If you are an owner of one of our dust collection systems and need a replacement part, please contact our Customer Service team at (866) 387-8822 or by emailing [email protected].
Will the 3HP motor work with 208 volt single phase power?
Yes. The V-3000 dust collector can be operated at a voltage range of 208V to 230V in single phase.
What is the expected lifetime of the Super Dust Deputy cyclone?
In our experience, we've never had a customer "wear out" their super dust deputy cyclone from normal use. The only exceptions are when sucks up materials not rated for the cyclone's construction i.e. don't suck up hot, smoldering materials or high abrasives (rough glass, soda blasts, etc.) with the molded cyclone as those can damage or wear out the material.
With its intended application (e.g. wood dust and debris) you could expect this cyclone to last for years to come, if not longer.
Where is the hardware for the Dust Deputy Deluxe?
The hardware (gasket, nuts, bolts,etc.) is stored in between the two buckets included in the kit.
Can this flex hose handle rock dust that has pieces of rock in it?
Our clear, flexible hose (item #DHF...) is designed for use in light dust collection applications such as wood dust. Heavier, more abrasive materials such as rock dust are outside the product's intended use and can degrade the quality of the hose quicker than intended.
Does this drum dolly work on 5 gallon plastic buckets?
Yes. This drum dolly will fit any container up to 14" in diameter. You will just need to drill a hole in the bottom of the bucket to install the dolly.
What do I need to know about NFPA regulations?
Fire protection regulations are a complex and ever-changing set of rules that differ from facility to facility. However, all of Oneida Air Systems' dust collector are NFPA Compliance Ready and we provide best practices and guidance for assisting customers - read our NFPA Reference Guide for more information.
Do you make custom ductwork components?
No, Oneida Air Systems does not manufacture custom parts to order. Our entire product offering is showcased on our online store and in our downloadable catalog. If a part is not shown in these places, we do not currently offer it.
Can the Router Hood be modified in the field to fit a router that isn’t compatible with the Router Hood screw hole pattern?
Yes! The Dust-Free Router Hood is designed to fit most fixed and plunge base routers. However, if the hole pattern on the base of your router does not line up with at least two of the holes or slots on the Dust-Free Router Hood, the Router Hood base may be modified in the field. Click "Read More" for instructions.
Note: the Router Hood is made from polycarbonate plastic, the same material used for bulletproof windows. It is extremely tough and drills easily without cracking. If you have difficulty customizing the Router Hood for your specific router, please contact our Customer Service Team at 866-387-8822 for assistance.
your electrical specs are for a 3 hp motor 1 phase, The unit I am looking at is for a 5 hp motor 1 phase. Is the amperage the same if not what is the correct amperage?
For the 5HP 1ph High Vacuum Cyclone Dust Collector, the typical amperage is 19.5A.
